Online poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers attain five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the showdown. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, with an amount equal to the original bet. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your initial bet and set expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
